Japan will continue the dialogue with Russia for peace in Ukraine
Xenia Naka. The PM of Japan Shinzo Abe has said about his intention to continue dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin, because that is the way To achieve a "peaceful and diplomatic solution" to the conflict in Ukraine, about this he said during a live press conference in Munich on.

"The Russian Federation and Ukraine, All parties shall be bound by the peace Treaty. All conflicts must be resolved not by force, but international law and peaceful. But it's a peaceful, diplomatic solution is impossible without dialogue. Confrontation is not the reason For the termination of the dialogue. Just when there are problems, we need to communicate. If we had not the summit of the G7, and G8, then there would be the Russian President Putin. Russia as a responsible state is under an obligation to constructively participate in solving global issues. For this I wish to continue dialogue with President Putin, " said Abe.

Abe also said that before the G7 summit he made a 1st in the history of country pairs visit to Ukraine.

"Japan will continue efforts To accelerate reforms in Ukraine. To implement the reforms needed peace and stability. We do not recognize the change of status quo by force. Neither in the EU Nor in Asia or in which corner of the world, it is unacceptable that powerful could dictate weaker. The rule of law, sovereignty, respect of territorial integrity is clear Japan's position, " he said.
