In Sumy burned down the office of the Ukrainian party "Svoboda"

On the night of June 16 in Sumy lit office all-Ukrainian Union (IN) "Svoboda". About it informs "Interfax".

"Currently at 3 a.m. the police officers who were on duty on the streets of the resurrection, heard the explosion. Upon arrival to the scene, they noticed the fire on the first floor of the building that housed the office of the Sumy cell by one of the political parties. The fire engulfed the whole building", - is told in the news a press-services regional UMVD in the regions. The Ministry reported that, in order to avoid human casualties, the inhabitants of the house, where the Cabinet of the party, were evacuated.

The fire happened inside the building. The fire destroyed computer equipment, furniture and promotional literature. According to our information, the reason could be a short in the wiring. According to the chief of regional UMVD Anatoly Riccola, all respondents recognize that it is not seen near the place of the conflict of others.

The precedent of a fire initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 194 of the Criminal code of Ukraine ("Deliberate elimination of any defect property").

IN "Freedom" - the radical nationalist party, formerly known as the Social-national party of Ukraine, created in early 1990-ies. Its Chairman is Oleg Tyagnibok. In the elections of 2012 "Freedom" gained about 10 per cent of the votes and get a few 10 s of the seats in Parliament. Tyagnibok and his comrades took part in the Euromaidan - the anti-government campaign in late 2013 and early 2014 in support of European integration of Ukraine, which ended with a change of government. After the "Revolution of dignity" they have joined the ruling coalition with parties Batkivshchyna and UDAR.
