Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova has been named the second most searched for sporting name on Yahoo`s Internet search engine in 2007, the Russian tennis player`s Web site said Tuesday. Sharapova, 20, the 2004 Madrid WTA champion and the world`s highest paid female athlete last year, topped the list of athletes who were most often mentioned in Yahoo`s search engine.
