SAMARA, February 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russia`s leading carmaker AvtoVAZ on Monday restarted its production lines, which were halted on Friday over problems with suppliers, the plant`s spokesperson said. "The assembly line has started to work normally. The working shift began at 7 a.m. local time [3:00 GMT]. Negotiations with suppliers of auto parts have been completed," the spokesperson said. Problems with supplies emerged after the car manufacturer introduced a new payment scheme, paying money for only 30% of supplied components and using promissory notes from its own and affiliated banks to pay for up to 70% of deliveries.
