Guus Hiddink will become a temporary coach with the Chelsea Football Club until the end of the season. Still, coaching the Russian national team will remain Hiddink’s main priority. The Russian national team boss has agreed to combine his post in Chelsea with his current position in Russia. "We announced today that we have reached an agreement with Guus Hiddink to come here as our temporary coach until the end of the season," said Chelsea Communications and Public Affairs Director Simon Greenberg. "Guus Hiddink will arrive at the end of this week- either tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday to meet the team for the first time." Hiddink said he doesn`t see a problem in combining the two jobs and said that the close relationship Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has with Russian football has contributed to his having made this decision. "We will remain fully involved with the Russian team in the near future and after that also," the coach said. "But now you know the relations between Roman Abramovich and the Russian football is intense and he contributed a lot to Russian football. It means now we can help and we will do what we can." Guus Hiddink said that he has yet to decide whether he will stay with Chelsea beyond the current season.
