Gold and currency reserves of Ukraine after the selection of the next IMF tranche 1, 7 billion dollars reached 12 billion dollars, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Sunday in the program "Ten minutes with Prime Minister" in the broadcast television channel.
The IMF Executive Board on the last working day of the week blessed the allocation of Ukraine of the next tranche of financial assistance in the amount of 1, 7 billion. Kiev hopes that the funds have the opportunity to be listed in the beginning of August.
"In the month of February, the reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine amounted to 5, $ 6 billion, and this entire amount allocated to the IMF, will go to the Gold and currency reserves of the national Bank, and our reserves will be 12 billion dollars ", - said Yatsenyuk.
The four-year Program of financial assistance to Ukraine was approved by the IMF Board of Directors on March eleven. The program provides for the allocation of Fund 17, 5 billion dollars, and all international creditors over four years - $ 40 billion. Ukraine in mid-March has already received the 1st tranche of the IMF in the amount of $ 5 billion. Just in 2015 Kiev hopes to receive $ 10 billion.
