Poroshenko called for a foul to stabilize the situation in the Donbass
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he will consider the situation in the East of the country is stable only after the withdrawal of foreign troops, the resumption of observation over the state border and conduct of elections in the Donbass by the Ukrainian legislation.
"Ukraine sees the stabilization of the situation in the East in the following way: we are obliged to withdraw foreign troops, then start the supervision over the border, to provide the return of Ukrainian sovereignty on the current site and to hold elections under the Ukrainian legislation in compliance with the rules of the ODIHR of the OSCE," - said Poroshenko in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels.
The Ukrainian Government has appointed elections to local authorities on 25 October. The authorities of the self-proclaimed DND and LNR many times stated about the conduct of local elections regardless of the wishes of Kiev.
