Vladimir Dobrovolsky. Ukraine in quest for the visa-free regime with the European Union should make further efforts in the battle with illegal activities of officials, said the European Commissioner on issues of justice, clients, and gender equality Vera Yurova, speaking on behalf of the head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini.
"on visa liberalization, we are moving towards a visa-free regime for Ukrainian Residents in the EU, an important step to strengthen people to people contacts. Kiev hopes to get visa-free regime with the European Union in early 2016. However, for this it is necessary to fulfill several conditions. For example, the story is about the improvement of the passport surveillance at borders and the introduction of internal passports of the European model in the form of a biometric ID card. The issuance of new documents is expected to begin in the coming year.
