The state Duma has confirmed the bill according to which the territory of the state in the Duma election of 2016 is divided into 225 constituencies. In the 2nd reading by the deputies of amendments have been made, correcting the boundaries conformable districts in the Vladimir region and Tatarstan.

"The scheme provides all the changes that took place in Russia in recent years. For example, the emergence of 2 new subjects of the Russian Federation, the strengthening of regions, the demographic picture", - has declared to the correspondent 1 from the authors of the bill, the head of the Duma Committee on constitutional legislation and state construction Vladimir Pligin. He called the bill "a major step in preparing for elections in the next state Duma".

Among other things the Deputy has reminded, that with the approval of a new "slicing" Russia is returning to the mixed election system of state Duma - 225 deputies will be elected on party lists, and another 225 - in single member constituencies, reports TASS.

"All single-member districts represent approximately the same number of voters in Russia. This mixed system - in the electoral district works part of urban and rural areas", - said Pligin. "In each subject will be created at least 1 district. Therefore, all Russian regions will be presented in the future state Duma", - said the head of the Committee.

At the same time, the parliamentarians adopted in the 2nd reading of the bill on the reconciliation of the single day of voting with the Federal parliamentary elections on the third Sunday of September starting from 2016.

"All elections coinciding with the election of the state Duma, will be held on the third Sunday of September. All remaining - in the 2nd Sunday of September", - Pligin has approved.

The schema "slicing" 225 single-mandate districts was confirmed at the meeting of the CEC on 2 September and focused on the coming day in the state Duma. The General rule of the Consulate for electoral districts will be about 500 thousand people with the total number of voters almost 110 million.

With all this in 32 regions will be formed according to single-mandate constituency 1 26 - district 2, in the other 27 subjects of the Russian Federation - more than 3 districts. The largest number of majoritarian districts - 15 - form in Moscow.
