Local elections are scheduled in Ukraine for October 25, for example, they will be held in the Kiev-controlled number of settlements of Donbass. Before the CEC of Ukraine announced that it has registered about 200 election observers.

According to Okhendovsky, the most numerous mission will be the mission of the OSCE / ODIHR, several hundred short-term observers will send to Ukraine the European network of organizations monitoring elections (ENEMO).
"We also expect the observation of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, NATO parliamentary Assembly, the Council of Europe, European Parliament," he added.
Ukraine's Parliament earlier adopted a law defining the rules of their conduct. Now regional, city and district councils will be elected under the proportional system with the so-called open lists, and elections of deputies of village and settlement councils - the majority system of relative majority. In elections are not available to take blocks of political parties, the electoral threshold for parties is raised from 3% to 5%.
