For eleven years he worked as a lawyer at Microsoft, and since 2014 has served as the chief legal counsel EMEA at Akamai Technologies organization. In may 2015 he was forced to leave the Cabinet because of the conflict with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
