The `Dreamgirls` star - whose mom Darnell Donnerson was murdered along with her brother and nephew in October 2008 - believes she is protected by her mother`s spirit and feels inspired by her when parenting her three-month-old son David. Asked if she feels her mom is with her all the time, Jennifer said: "Oh my God, yeah. Definitely. Wherever. Every day I`m like, `Wow! I didn`t realise I was so like my mother until now, you know? "My mother was the strongest person I`ve ever seen." Jennifer said motherhood had completely changed her life and is thankful for fiance David Otunga`s support. She told US TV show `Access Hollywood`: "Being a mom is the most amazing thing ever. "But it`s hard to put into words because it`s something you have to experience to understand. I love every minute of it." When asked if David changes nappies - the Oscar-winning star replied: "He just changed one sitting here a few minutes ago."
