Roshen confectionery Corporation owned by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has recognized the problems with exports of its products to the EU due to problems in issuing certificates, stated on the last working day of the week press service of the organization.
"Roshen Corporation focuses on the unresolved issue related to the special conditions of exports of Ukrainian products, and confectionery products, where the content of nuts and peanut more than 20% ", – notified on the Internet representation of the organization.
"According to regulations, the EU imported each batch of products containing more than 20% of nuts or peanuts, must be accompanied by a sanitary certificate of the established technical order forms. However, as emphasized in the message, now in the Ukraine does not address the question of confirmation and issuing of certificates, for this reason, the export of items with contents of nuts and peanuts above 20%, and confectionery, is not possible. Roshen – one of the largest world manufacturers of confectionery products, producing 450 thousand tons of products per year. The Corporation includes factory in the Ukraine, in Lithuania, Hungary and Russia. The founder of Roshen Corporation is the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Despite promises, it has until now not sold the company. However, he stated that he gave Roshen to the trust governance and deprived the Corporation of any influence.
