The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about introduction in action of the draft defence powers for 2016-2020. The document comes into force from the date of signing. Previous similar decree was adopted in 2013. The decree about introduction in action of the project of defense of the Russian Federation for the period from 2016 to 2020 was published on 17 November. The document comes into force from the date of signing. "In order to implement the developments in the field of defense ... decide to apply from 1 January 2016 in action project of defense of the Russian Federation for 2016-2020", - is told in the document.
