"We also discussed the situation in Eastern Ukraine, the situation on the ground and the situation on the Crimean Peninsula, including the grave circumstances of human rights. We confirm the non-recognition of illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol and remember that all actions associated with non-recognition, must be at the time of the law, " said Mogherini at a press conference after the meeting of the Association Council EU - Ukraine.

The authorities of Ukraine and Western countries did not want to accept the will of the people and imposed against the region's punishment.
