A Russian company has revealed the first image of the new weapon - ballistic missile, nicknamed "Satan 2." Rocket RS-28 can destroy land the size of Texas or France, reported the state news Agency Sputnik. The image was published by the State rocket center on its web site. Deputy Minister of defense of Russia Yuri Borisov said that the warhead complex "Sarmat" can destroy targets flying at the Northern and southern parts of Russia, told the Russian state news Agency TASS. The missile will have a range in excess of 11 thousand km (6,835 miles), said TASS. The warhead will weigh 100 tons. According to the statement posted on the website of the manufacturer, "Sarmat" is designed to provide the Russian strategic forces with a guaranteed and effective implementation of the tasks of nuclear deterrence" and is currently developed together with the Russian military. The web site describes the State rocket center as "one of the largest research and development centres in Russia for development of space-rocket equipment". NATO strengthened its defense in the countries located along the border with Russia amid growing concerns about the military direction of Moscow. Defence Ministers of NATO countries at the present time, arranged for a meeting in Brussels to discuss the situation and the fight against ISIL. Earlier this month, Moscow announced the suspension of agreements on arms reduction with the United States in which both countries agreed to dispose of 34 tons of plutonium, enough for thousands of nuclear bombs. The agreement was suspended because of "unfriendly actions" of Washington towards Russia.
