Trump chose another billionaire for the post of Secretary of the army
Latest Supplement made a trump to his team's ultra-wealthy officials. A businessman from new York and owner of the NHL Vincent viola was given the post of Minister of the army. Civil post is subject to Senate confirmation. Viola has been serving as officer-infantryman in the 101st airborne division.
But he is better known as a billionaire who has earned a fortune, which Forbes estimated at $ 1.8 billion. viola was born in Brooklyn and began his career in Finance as a trader on the new York Mercantile exchange in downtown Manhattan. He later founded a number of companies - primarily multimillion-dollar high-frequency trading firm Virtu Financial. The company went public in April 2015.
If the choice is trump confirmed viola will join the authority and grouped with other billionaires. Unlike the President, these senior administration officials are obliged to resolve any conflicts. Federal law says they have to get rid of any distressed holdings.
Viola spent most of the last decade as a neighbor of his new boss - and, it seems, shares the same taste for gilded furniture. The viola have a townhouse ten blocks North of the Trump Tower.
