Sandra Bullock has acupuncture three times a week

The Oscar-winning actress is famed for her toned physique, which she has previously insisted is the result of her job. Sandra insists she is paid to keep in shape and look good, so sees working out as part of the job description.

As well as spending time at the gym and eating healthily, Sandra keeps herself in top condition using acupuncture. She has sessions three times a week, and is adamant the practice helps keep her calm and relaxed.

"Sandra gets the treatment three times a week," a source explained. "She said it?s her secret weapon!"

The 45-year-old is particularly keen on getting her face, forehead, tummy and feet treated.

Sandra has previously admitted she is grateful to her late mother Helga for making her be active as a kid. She used to hate doing sport as a youngster, but feels years spent practicing athletics have stood her in good stead as an adult. "I have to say, Helga Bullock - a very strict German woman - forced me into gymnastics and dance at a very young age," Sandra has admitted. "I hated her for it, then continued to do other athletics and now I am thankful for what she started because it`s something I can keep doing for the rest of my life."
