The actor won legions of young female fans after portraying brooding bloodsucker Edward Cullen in the Twilight vampire film franchise. He is still getting used to be recognised wherever he goes, and has admitted he finds it strange when his fans ask him to bite them - as they regularly do.
Robert has now revealed he gets lots of strange fan mail, explaining it usually doesn`t affect him but one piece did get under his skin. "On one occasion I got this really bizarre horoscope thing from someone. It was a full-on zodiac reading, charting and intersecting all this stuff," he explained.
"It was over 20 pages long and said we were destined to be together. That was totally bizarre, I don?t really believe in that stuff anyway, although I do believe in karma because it?s bitten me on the a*s so many times."
Robert is still adjusting to having money, admitting he doesn`t know how to spend the cash he has. He still likes "sh**ty" things, with the only thing he has splashed out on being an apartment in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old refutes claims he is a sex symbol, insisting the spell is broken as soon as he stops to talk to his fans. "It`s funny because even the girls that think like that, if you talk to one of them for five minutes the illusion is gone," he told British newspaper The Sun."But people still hold on to an illusion. It doesn`t matter what you do - they?re going to form these fantasies."
