The music mogul is set to wed make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy later this year. With his busy schedule, Simon is far too busy to plan the upcoming nuptials and so has recruited former flames Sinitta and Jackie St Claire to do all the organising for him. The couple have pencilled in the weekend of September 11-12 as the most likely date for the ceremony, and put Jackie and Sinitta in charge of the reception. "With Simon`s hectic schedule there are only so many weeks in the year they can get married," a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "They felt the spring was too early to get things organised and Simon would be spending most of his time in America with Idol. So they pencilled in the weekend of September 11/12." In keeping with his mother`s wishes, Simon has chosen an intimate church ceremony in Britain, followed by a £1 million party. Jackie and Sinitta are already furiously planning the reception, which they have promised will outdo Simon’s recent 50th birthday party, which cost £1 million and featured performances by Leona Lewis and Westlife. "They have so many plans for the party afterwards and they want to make it better than his 50th party at Wrotham Park," the source continued. "God knows who they are going to get but it is sure to be the wedding reception of the century." Even though there are bound to be some stars performing at the wedding, Simon and Mezhgan are trying to keep their big day as low-key as possible, and have decided the best way to do this is to not invite their celebrity friends. Instead, the guest list will be made up of close friends and family members. "It will be just before the live X Factor starts up again so he`ll go back to work soon after," the insider revealed. "Despite his persona he is a very private person and says he wants keep the actual blessing of their marriage personal, with only his family and very closest friends present. "There will be hardly any showbiz guests, if any, when they become man and wife."
