The F-35 aircraft arrived in the UK

The newest stealth fighters-aviation arrived in the UK last weekend in the framework of strengthening the assurance of European allies against Russian aggression on the continent.

The F-35A with hill air force base in Utah landed at RAF Lakenheath on Saturday, as the air force stated that they are a few weeks training with other American aircraft and crews, as well as with allies of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

"As we and our collaborative partners F-35 introduce the aircraft into our inventory, it is important that we trained together to integrate into a cohesive team capable of defending the sovereignty of the Union countries", - said the General TOD D. Walters, US Air commander in Europe, said in a statement.

Air force stated that the F-35 deployed to support European initiatives on security. Multibillion-dollar program launched under President Obama in 2014 to show support for U.S. allies after Russia annexed the Crimea to Ukraine.

The F-35 are only the latest example of aircraft the U.S. air force, sent to Europe in connection with the European initiative for security. Yet there are F-22, F-16, F-15 and A-10.
