In Russia, lamenting for the death of Hvorostovsky
Wednesday on 56-m to year of life after long illness, he died the Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

The message of the death shocked fans of the national artist who expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Hvorostovsky via social networks.

"Gone with the magical voice. Perhaps in Heaven a good show planned. Thanks, Dmitri, for Your wonderful music! Mourn! The bright memory," wrote Twitter user Julia Korovina.

"A great tragedy for the whole Russian school of Opera, the world Opera art," said Andrei Malosolov.

"People like Hvorostovsky, and single. This treasure of Russia. Sad to lose a compatriot, who represented our country", - with bitterness emphasizes Eugene Zhukov.

"Tears flowed a stream after the news that he died Hvorostovsky," wrote Alina Egorova.

"He was bringing the light! Tried to light the way" - commented on the passing of Hvorostovsky Twitter user Yulia Sapronova.

"The world has lost a genius," said Natalia Belyaeva.

"Such as Hvorostovsky, born once in a century. Thanks for all that he did for us," Max Razumov.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky is widely known in 27 years of age, after winning the competition "singer of the world" in Cardiff in 1989. The young Soviet artist with an athletic build and a mane for his age gray hair that he inherited from his mother, in a moment destroyed the stereotype about Opera singers and became known worldwide.

Earlier condolences to the family of Hvorostovsky was expressed by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky and a number of Russian and foreign politicians and cultural figures.

People's artist will be buried in Moscow at Novodevichy cemetery.
