The 47-year-old married Ashton, 32, in 2005. Much has been made of their age difference, but they have both insisted it has no bearing on their romance. Demi has revealed she often forgets she is older than Ashton, and giggles when she is reminded of the age gap. "Age is irrelevant, it doesn`t really have any play in our relationship," she explained. We`re giving each other something unique, based on the differences in our lives. Every once in a while it`s funny if I think, `When I was this age you were in second grade...` But really, we are equal partners in all of this." Demi has three daughters with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, and they all get on well with Ashton. The actress admits her kids are quite similar to her spouse, explaining she was shocked to discover her youngest child Tallulah, 16, had never seen St. Elmo`s Fire, the 1985 movie which started her career, recently, but even more surprised to hear Ashton hadn`t either. "It`s not quite his generation," she laughed. "All I could say when it was on was, `I`m so terrible.` "
