Kim Cattrall: absence of underwear is good for your health

The actress plays man-eater Samantha Jones in American show Sex and the City, and is equally as outspoken in real life. She has advised women to play around with their style and not get too caught up in following trends, explaining fashion should be fun.

"Your dressing area should be your private space," she replied, when asked for fashion advice. "And it`s a proven fact that if you don`t wear underwear it`s more ventilation and that`s maybe healthier!"

Kim says working with the show`s costume designer Patricia Field has done wonders for her sense of style. Patricia has taught her to branch out into different looks, and not to be afraid of colour and prints.

"She`s influenced by style tremendously," Kim admitted to British magazine Look. "When I met her I wanted to wear suits and be this kind of business icon and she opened up a world of possibilities. She has a tremendous eye."
