The administration of us President Donald trump is going to introduce in Congress a draft law which will allow Washington in fact to ignore the demands of a worldwide trading organization (WTO), informs the portal Axios, who turned out to be a draft version of the bill. The document, if adopted, will give the US President power to approve tariffs on imports unilaterally, without the consent of Congress. In addition, the project will allow the United States to ignore the basic principles of the WTO. A source in the Congress said that the adoption of such a Document is tantamount to a US withdrawal from the WTO. Later, the head of the Ministry of Finance of the USA Stephen Mnuchin denied information about the plans of the US withdrawal from the global trade organization. then trump also said that it plans to withdraw from membership in the organization, but expressed the view that the attitude of the US in this organization has to be more honest. In March, the US imposed import duties on steel and aluminum (25 and 10%, respectively) worsened relationships with their key partners in the European Union and Asia. Washington was subjected to prosecution the EU and member of the global trade organization, which imposed a reciprocal import duties on American goods, in disregard of WTO rules.
