The actress and partner Brad Pitt - who raise six children together - are already planning a celebration for when their daughter Shiloh turns four next week after the youngster requested a similar bash to one they threw for eldest son Maddox a few years ago.
A source said: "Maddox had a soldier-themed party when he turned four, so Shiloh wants the same."
According to the family friend, Shiloh`s parents are planning to shower her with birthday gifts including boots, toy guns and a new bed in the shape of a spaceship.
The source added to In Touch Weekly magazine: "She wants boys` toys, since she`s such a little tomboy. Brad also bought Shiloh a jeep that is safe for kids, and he`s thinking of getting her a toy quad bike that she can drive around the property."
It was recently claimed that Brad spent more than $10,000 buying boys clothes for Shiloh after she shunned the feminine items he was buying for her five-year-old sister Zahara.
A source said: "Zahara chose very girlie outfits, but Shiloh only wanted items from the boys` collection, which was in another boutique across the street.
"Shiloh had absolutely no interest in the pretty dresses or skirts."
The `Inglourious Basterds` star has previously revealed that Shiloh only responds to the name John, after growing obsessed with the Darling brothers in classic story `Peter Pan`.
Brad said: "She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it`s a `Peter Pan` thing.
"So we`ve got to call her John, `Shi, do you want...` - `John. I`m John.` And then I`ll say, `John, would you like some orange juice?` "
