As said the IMF at the meeting, the first 1, 4 billion of 3, 9 billion dollars during the 14-month program of financial support to credit stand-by arrangement (SBA) for Ukraine will be extended immediately, the others during semi-annual performance reviews of the program.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on 19 October said that Kiev and the IMF agreed on a new program, which will start to operate in 2019. The Fund has confirmed that it has reached consensus with the government on a new credit loan for 14 months, the amount equivalent to 3, 9 billion dollars.
