The 20-year-old star has made a name for herself as a singer and actress, and is currently working on her new album. She says her mother and father have been instrumental in her success as they supported and encouraged her so much, something she is eternally grateful for. "My parents have always been very respectful of me so I`ve always been really respectful of them," she explained to J14 magazine. "My worst fear is to let them down so that`s why I don`t misbehave." Taylor has discussed her song writing process in the past, admitting she usually draws on her romantic relationships for inspiration. She has now explained writing about things that happen in her life is often the only way she can make sense of what she`s going through. She finds making lists of her feelings helps her cope, and then turns the notes into songs. "When I finish a song, sometimes I think, `I must be the only person who has ever felt this way, right?`" she explained. "You can be afraid of a lot of things, but you jump anyway."
