Stokholmi international Institute on peace (SIPRI) released its annual report, in which he called the largest arms exporters. According to the report, the Major world exporters were the United States, Russia, China, France and Germany. The share of these countries account for 75% of the global volume of arms exports, besides the first two of them are 57% of total exports. the paper reported that in the period from 2014 to 2018, the Russian Federation supplied weapons in 48 countries. The main importers of Russian arms were India, China and Algeria. It is also noted that in 2009 the total export from Russia decreased by 17% due to the reduction of the supply of arms to India and Venezuela. India remains a major buyer of weapons from Russia, however in 2009 the volume of purchases fell by 42 percent, and imports to Venezuela for the same period decreased by 96 %. in addition, the report says that in the period from 2014 to 2018, global exports increased by 7, 8 percent.
