The actress has starred in a series of blockbusters throughout her long career. She never went to drama classes, and doesn`t think her lack of formal education held her back at all. The blonde beauty is convinced the only way to learn how to be a film star is to appear in movies, and advises all aspiring actors to get as much hands-on experience as they can. "There`s no school that teaches you how to be an actor in front of the camera - which is ironic. It`s a whole different thing," Cameron explained. "I`ve never done theatre, so I don`t know how to act on stage, but the partnership between you, the actor and the camera and the crew and the set and all the technical aspects of making a movie - you really have to be there to know what it is. It`s through the experience of doing it." Cameron stars opposite Tom Cruise in new action comedy Knight and Day. Tom agrees that acting can only be learnt from experience, and insists he is still learning to this day. "Contributing to the movie, as an actor - how do you develop a character? What is the story? All the years you`re working and working, you`re just learning and learning more," he explained to Empire magazine. "It`s always a lesson, every single time, no matter what."
