The British soul singer has won a host of international music prizes, including five prestigious Grammy Awards. Amy is famed for her chaotic party lifestyle, and her father Mitch has revealed he has taken all of her trophies for safekeeping in his own home so she can`t destroy them. "I went round to Amy`s flat in Camden and one of her Ivor Novellos was lying on the floor with clothes on top of it," he told the British edition of OK! magazine. "So I said, `That`s it!` So she doesn`t get to keep anything!" Mitch recently released his own album, but doesn`t expect it to do as well as Amy`s best-selling Back to Black. He knows his daughter is a much better singer than him, which is why he will never agree to do a duet with her. "I want to be judged on my own merit," he explained. "Plus, she makes me look like an amateur!"
