The people's Deputy of the European Parliament from France, Thierry Mariani made the initiative to cancel penalties against Russia. The politician said he supports the position of President of Emmanuel Macron, who said about the need "to explain" Relations with Russia to achieve stability in the European Union. "If we continue the policy of isolation of Russia, it will become closer to China and we remain on the sidelines," said Mariani the radio station France Info. He noticed that the first step towards the normalization of relations with Russia should be the cancellation or at least a mitigation of punishment. Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated over the situation in Ukraine and around the Crimea. The West, accusing the Russian Federation in the intervention, introduced penalties against Moscow retaliated, took the policy of import substitution and has repeatedly said that talking with her in the language of penalties is counterproductive. Russia also noted that it is not a party to the conflict in Ukraine and the subject of the Minsk agreements, and the question of Crimea, which became Russian region after the referendum legitimate, closed permanently. During the last period of time in EU member States clearly there are opinions about the need for the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions, which cause great harm in the 1st place of the European economies. <span style="color:darkgray
