The 23-year-old actress-turned-singer has told her fans over Twitter that she is beginning work on her second album and will be collaborating with Steve Morales - who has previously worked on records with Destiny`s Child and Christina Aguilera.
She wrote to her fans: "Heading into the music studio recording my new single! Steve Morales my music producer moves into my house tomorrow to make my summer album!(sic)"
The reality television star - who is known for her appearances in `The Hills` and turbulent relationship with Spencer Pratt -recorded her first single back in 2007 when she signed a one-song contract with Warner Brothers.
In 2008 she released her first single `Higher` which was only available on iTunes. The song was widely panned and Heidi responded by saying: "I appreciate people taking the time to write any comment."
Earlier this year Heidi released her self-funded album `Superficial` which sold only 658 copies in its first week of release.
