"This initiative involves the presumption of consent for posthumous donation - that is, a person can become a donor if it is not expressed in life-written or oral - under certain conditions - a waiver of that or this refusal is not given to his relatives for three hours afterward, as he was diagnosed with brain death," explained Morozov.
The MP added that the bill stipulates the obligation of physicians after the death of the brain the patient to inform his relatives about the intention to withdraw his organs. However, if no relatives, said the MP, the issue will be resolved with the help of consultations.
