During a nighttime attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles on Belgorod, three people were killed, said acting head Alexander Shuvaev.
In addition, 25 people were injured, including children aged 4 and 9. One of them was taken by medics in moderate condition. Thirteen adults are in hospitals, among them one wounded in extremely critical condition.
Shuvaev clarified that there were also fires in two apartment buildings, which were quickly extinguished.
According to the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region, about thirty houses, three social and six commercial facilities, and more than three dozen cars were damaged in total.
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under the Criminal Code on terrorism. Official representative of the committee Svetlana Petrenko emphasized that the Ukrainian forces again showed inhumane attitude towards the civilian population.
