The press service of the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, reported that 75 people were wounded in the attack of Ukrainian drones on Nizhnekamsk. Among the injured there is a child. In addition, citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were killed as a result of the strike.
To provide assistance to the victims, additional teams of doctors from Naberezhnye Chelny were sent to the city. Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko took personal control of the provision of medical care to the wounded.
Earlier it became known that in the morning enemy drones tried to attack industrial and civilian facilities in Nizhnekamsk. Minnikhanov ordered to quickly eliminate the consequences of the strike. Mourning for the dead has been declared in Tatarstan.
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack. The agency noted that there were civilians at the attacked facilities who had nothing to do with hostilities.
