The Russian Defense Ministry said that last night Russian military struck a warehouse center in Kyiv that served as a storage site for attack drones.
As the ministry clarified, the facility contained up to 15,000 drones, some of which were equipped with thermal imaging cameras, as well as ground control stations.
In addition, in the Ukrainian capital, a terminal of the company "Nova Poshta" came under attack, where, according to the Defense Ministry, dual-use goods were stored, including components for the production of medium- and long-range drones.
In Zaporizhzhia, the metallurgical plant "Zaporizhstal" was attacked, where protective screens were being installed on heavy armored vehicles to protect against UAVs.
Ukrainian media report that the Russian army used ballistic missiles. Moreover, after previous strikes on targets in Kyiv, Vladimir Zelensky admitted that air defense forces were unable to repel the attack.
The Defense Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that strikes are carried out on infrastructure in order to reduce the enemy's military-economic potential. For this purpose, attack UAVs and long-range high-precision weapons are used, capable of destroying any target both in Kyiv and throughout the territory of Ukraine.
