Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said that Russia continues to see a recovery in GDP growth rates. According to preliminary data from Rosstat, growth in the second quarter amounted to 1.3% year-on-year, while in the first quarter there was a decline of 0.2%.

Reshetnikov attributed this dynamics to the systematic work of the government and the Central Bank aimed at supporting structural changes and increasing the resilience of the economy.

According to the estimate of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian economy grew by 0.6% in the first half of the year.
