The Russian Defense Ministry said that strikes on port infrastructure and sea vessels used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are ongoing. The targets of aviation and drones were fuel and lubricant reservoirs and equipment used in unloading supplies for Ukrainian troops. In addition, a patrol boat in the port of Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region was hit.

Russian Foreign Ministry Special Envoy Rodion Miroshnik explained that the AFU use the sea route as a round-the-clock channel for delivering weapons. According to him, over three years, about eight thousand ships with military cargo passed through Odesa ports, which explains the strikes on these targets.

The Russian military department has repeatedly emphasized that strikes are carried out on infrastructure to reduce the enemy's military-economic potential. For this purpose, strike UAVs and long-range high-precision weapons capable of destroying any target both in Kyiv and throughout Ukrainian territory are used.
