The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian forces struck a workshop in Odesa region where unmanned boats were produced for attacks on Russian cities, ships in the Black Sea, and energy infrastructure facilities. In addition, other targets were hit during the strike, including a parking area for military ships.

The military department has repeatedly emphasized that strikes are carried out on infrastructure to reduce the enemy's military-economic potential. For this purpose, strike drones and long-range high-precision weapons capable of hitting targets both in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine are used.

Russian Foreign Ministry Special Envoy Rodion Miroshnik explained that the Ukrainian Armed Forces use the sea route as a round-the-clock channel for delivering weapons. According to him, over three years, about eight thousand ships with military cargo passed through Odesa ports, which explains the strikes on these targets.
