The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) has decided to take into custody former Verkhovna Rada deputy Maksym Mykytas, who appears in audio recordings of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in the framework of an investigation into a criminal organization. In addition, according to NABU, the management of the Ukrainian "Sense Bank" was involved in the money laundering scheme.

The publication's message, posted on its Telegram channel, says: "HACC sent ex-deputy Mykytas to custody with the possibility of release on bail of 30 million hryvnias (670 thousand dollars - ed.) He is involved in the new NABU case together with ex-deputy head of the Office of the President Mudra".

Earlier, "Strana.ua" also reported that HACC arrested Mykytas's subordinate Valentyn Yelizarov, who also appears in the new NABU case on a criminal organization.
