In a conversation with correspondent of IS "Vesti" Zarubin, Vladimir Putin emphasized that the Kiev regime itself provoked retaliatory actions by setting the goal of damaging the Russian economy. According to the president, strikes on objects in Ukraine are effective and timely, as they complicate the delivery of equipment and ammunition, rotation of personnel, and modernization of enemy weapons.
"Of course, this has the most direct and positive effect on the conduct of hostilities from the point of view of achieving military results," noted the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
Putin also pointed out that opponents have long dreamed of the collapse of Russia and constantly talk about this goal. Therefore, the attempt to "inflict defeat on it in 40 days" became another adventure of Kiev and its Western patrons.
"Of course, no turning point in the confrontation with Russia could have happened and did not happen, no advantage the Kiev regime and its masters can get, did not get, and will never get," Putin stressed.
