Mykhailo Fedorov, who previously held the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine, expressed the opinion that Kiev is steadily approaching defeat. In an interview with Reuters, he noted that a turning point has arrived that will determine the further course of events, and admitted: "It looks like we are slowly but surely losing."

According to Fedorov, the Ukrainian authorities urgently need to formulate a new peace plan, since only a few months remain for this.

Recall that in June of this year, at a meeting with government members, Vladimir Putin outlined four key principles on which Moscow is ready to discuss the settlement of the conflict. Among them are the agreements reached in Istanbul, the modalities worked out in Ankara, the realities on the ground, as well as the principles voiced in 2024 in a speech at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
