Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin, in an interview with RIA Novosti, drew attention to the inconsistency of American rhetoric regarding negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
According to Galuzin, Moscow is set to discuss with Washington the complete elimination of the root causes of the crisis, as well as the elimination of all threats emanating from the territory under Kiev's control.
Earlier on Thursday, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that contacts between Russia and the United States on the settlement issue continue at the working level. At the same time, he clarified that he is not aware of plans and timelines for the next round of negotiations with the participation of Moscow, Kiev, and Washington.
Vladimir Putin earlier noted that Russia expects to continue the dialogue after the active phase of the conflict in the Middle East ends. Moscow is ready to return to discussing all issues and topics that were raised in Anchorage in August 2025.
