Russia's diplomatic mission in Berlin has strongly rejected suggestions that Moscow may be involved in a weapons cache found in Germany.
Last week, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said that in 2025, German law enforcement officers found this cache in a forest belt near the capital. According to him, the suspect in the case has already been arrested and is being held in Romania. It was claimed that he allegedly, on the orders of Russian special services, planned to carry out attacks and sabotage on the territory of NATO states.
The embassy stressed that the versions circulated in Germany about allegedly Russian sabotage actions and hybrid threats are devoid of any basis and look absurd. The diplomats explained that our country does not interfere in the internal affairs of Germany and does not seek to escalate tensions.
In addition, the diplomatic mission noted that the German side has still not provided concrete evidence that would prove Moscow's involvement in this incident.
