Series of explosions near Kyiv causes major fire and power outages

The TV channel "We are Ukraine" reports powerful explosions in the suburbs of Kyiv. According to media reports, the incident caused intense fire.

Witnesses also recorded sounds of detonation, including repeated ones, in the area of the Zhytomyr highway, where a large-scale flame occurred.

The publication "Strana.ua" reports that part of the left bank of the Ukrainian capital was left without power supply.

Earlier, explosions in the city were recorded at 17:25 and 20:17 Moscow time.

In response to enemy actions, Russian military strikes targets at decision-making centers, enterprises, and warehouses used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with NATO specialists.

Strike drones and long-range high-precision weapons capable of hitting targets both in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine are being used.
