The visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Russia may take place in the near future, but exact dates have not yet been set. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.
"In the near future. No exact dates yet," Peskov said.
The Kremlin representative clarified that the Armenian prime minister's visit will take place this year.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Pashinyan on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Bishkek. During the meeting, the leaders discussed the need to organize a referendum in Armenia to close the question of the republic's membership in the EAEU or joining the European Union.
Following the talks, Putin said he had invited the Armenian prime minister to Moscow to discuss specific issues of interaction between the two countries.
