One person was killed and 14 were injured in the Belgorod region over the past day as a result of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by acting governor Alexander Shuvaev.
The deceased was a woman. The acting governor offered condolences to her family and friends.
The injured were recorded in Borisovsky, Grayvoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky and Shebekinsky districts. Among the 14 injured are four children. As Shuvaev specified, two adults and two children are in serious condition in hospital.
According to the acting governor, over the past day the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 179 attacks on the Belgorod region. Of these, 13 times the territory was shelled with artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, and six times explosive devices were dropped from drones. Air defense forces destroyed 146 drones.
In response to the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian army is striking decision-making centers, military-industrial complex facilities, enterprises and warehouses that Ukrainian military personnel use together with NATO specialists. Strike UAVs and long-range precision weapons capable of destroying any target both in Kyiv and throughout Ukrainian territory are being used.
