The military repelled the largest Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
According to the city head, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to disrupt the State Duma elections, but failed to do so. He also said that some of the drones reached the territory of the Moscow oil refinery, and one device hit a residential building. There were no fatalities.
Earlier, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported that two people died and several others were injured as a result of a massive UAV attack on the region. Apartment buildings and private houses were damaged.
Russia is holding the final third day of elections to the lower house of parliament. Central Election Commission head Ella Pamfilova stressed that enemies would not be able to disrupt the voting.
