The results of the single voting day brought victory to eight incumbent and acting heads of regions. In two more subjects - Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia - the heads were chosen by deputies of the regional parliaments.
Direct elections of heads took place in Mordovia, Chechnya, Tuva, Belgorod, Bryansk, Tver, Penza and Ulyanovsk regions.
In Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov ("United Russia") received 77.79% of the votes, far ahead of his rivals: Alexander Alexandrov (CPRF) - 7.78%, Yevgeny Tyurin (LDPR) - 7.44%, Timur Geraskin ("A Just Russia") - 3.85%, Dmitry Masserov ("The Greens") - 2.08%. Zdunov has headed the republic since September 2021.
Ramzan Kadyrov ("United Russia"), who has led Chechnya since April 2011, retained the post with 99.85% of the votes. Ismail Denilkhanov ("A Just Russia") and Khalid Nakayev (CPRF) each received 0.05% of the votes.
Vladislav Khovalyg ("United Russia"), who took the post of head of Tuva in September 2021, received 90.95% of the votes. Yegor Chistyakov (LDPR), Artysh Irgit ("New People"), Lodoy-Damba Kuular (CPRF) and Aziat Chanzan ("A Just Russia") each received less than 3% of the votes.
Alexander Shuvayev ("United Russia"), who served as acting head of Belgorod region since May 2026, received 65.97% of the votes. Yevgeny Dremov (LDPR) received 10.66%, Valery Shevlyakov (CPRF) - 9.12% of the votes, Artyom Zotov (RPPS) - 7.55%, Vladimir Abelmazov ("A Just Russia") - 5.17%.
In Bryansk region, Yegor Kovalchuk ("United Russia"), who served as acting governor since May 2026, received 67.52% of the votes, ahead of Andrei Arkhitsky (CPRF) with 14.91%. Ruslan Titov (LDPR) received 8.05%, Alexei Timoshkov ("A Just Russia") - 4.7%, Alexandra Kazachkova ("New People") - 3.73%.
In Tver region, Vitaly Korolev ("United Russia"), who served as acting head of the region since November 2025, won with 69.48% of the votes. Lyudmila Vorobyova (CPRF) received 10.49%, Olga Levina (LDPR) - 6.44%. Tatyana Petrova ("A Just Russia") received 5.64%, Sergei Malinkovich ("Communists of Russia") - 2.93%, Igor Yakovenko (RPPS) - 1.94.
In Penza region, Oleg Melnichenko ("United Russia"), who has headed the region since September 2021, retained the post with 70.89% of the votes. Oleg Shalyapin (CPRF) received 13.07% of the votes, Pavel Kulikov (LDPR) - 6.73%, Mikhail Lisin ("A Just Russia") - 5.21%, Viktor Yeroshenko ("Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice") - 3.03% of the votes.
Incumbent head of Ulyanovsk region Alexei Russkikh (CPRF), who has led the region since September 2021, received 77.05% of the votes. Sergei Marinin (LDPR) received 8.72%, Marina Kim ("A Just Russia") - 7.32% of the votes, Yulia Yasaitis ("New People") - 5.23%.
The parliament of Karachay-Cherkessia elected Rashid Temrezov as head of the republic. He was challenged by deputies Alexander Chaika and Krym Shnakhov. Forty-eight of 50 deputies took part in the open vote, and all those present voted for Temrezov.
Deputies of the North Ossetian parliament elected Sergei Menyailo as head of the region for a second term. Sixty-one votes were cast for his candidacy. Oleg Varnavin received five votes, Chermen Dudati - none.
